Alas, Spring is in the air. With beautiful and bountiful flowers blooming everywhere, it's easy to appreciate the smaller things in life, and the magnificent power of mother nature. whoa. I've been picking flowers in our garden, finally realizing that there will never be a need to buy flowers ever again. Violet roses have this inimitable, intoxicating rose smell that I wish could be bottled somehow so that I can take a whiff of it to get me out of cruddy moods. Stop to smell the roses, f'sho. Something about fresh plants in your room really livens it all up, and suddenly, everything seems pretty and carefree.Sidenote: currently obsessed with the color "pourpre." Isn't that a fun name for burgundy/berry? Alongside coral/orange, this feels like the new "it" color for Spring/Summer.
