{COOKING} Fried Food & Watermelon

Introducing my new addiction...kimchee fried rice!

 step 1: saute diced kimchee & marinated chicken
(I used a kalbi recipe & replaced sugar w/ agave)

 step 2: after sauteing for 7-10 minutes, add a bit of sesame oil & kimchee juice, 

saute a bit more & then add rice

 step 3: mix in the rice so that all the ingredients are well incorporated. 

Top it off with a fried egg & flax seeds.


YUM & DONE!  

Now for some "ra-bokki" aka rice cake in spicy sauce w/ ramen noodles & fish cake

 Mmm...alongside, some fried squid

And to clear the palate...some BOMB sweet & crunchy watermelon.

Tis the season, so get you some! 

I wish I knew how to make this into a cool video...gotta go ask my friend how he made this clip!

Where does the time go?! 

O' how I wish for the days when turning 21 felt like light years away...

Suffice to say, I've been lagging big time with EVERYTHING! (Blogging, of course,

among one of the most obvious things...) Maybe I should have stuck to a journal... 

But at this rate, it would have eventually been covered with dust. Why do I do this to myself?

Fear? Sheer Laziness? Immaturity? All of the above? ding ding ding!

Anyway...enough of my self-loathing rant! It's all psychological anyhow.

I vow to try harder, work at myself day-by-day, focusing on the big-picture and not

getting too hung up on the little things. I refuse to believe that I have absolutely nothing

positive to share. So stay tuned, 제발~

The Comeback

About 5 weeks ago, my computer suddenly went into a coma, and

I didn't check it in until 2 days ago to get it fixed...and TA-DAH, all

repaired the day after. Apple Genius Bar, you've amazed me.

And it was free-99 due to some glitch in 07-08 Macbook Pro's! I've never

felt so grateful for a product defect. AND to welcome the comeback...

may I introduce to you my newest guilty pleasure

Top Model Korea Season 2.
