{NEW} Spirit Beauty Lounge
My sister, the beauty addict, raved about SPIRIT BEAUTY LOUNGE, which specializes in all natural products (think, Whole Foods Beauty aisle on steroids, in a good way), and now I'm starting to see why...I AM IN LOVE THIS PLACE! (Did you see all those free samples?! Even an organic mango lollipop! YUMorio...) Here are some recent goodies I splurged on...I'm starting to get into beauty and skincare, (finally!) because my negligence is starting to rear its ugly head (almost quite literally). All of the products are fuggin faabulous, and hopefully all this in conjunction w/ Clarisonic,
Paula's Choice, Neostrata renewal peel, apple cider vinegar toner + honey/sugar scrub will help rejuvenate my face which has endured a grueling decades worth of acne. And it still sticks around acting like gum on shoes. FUNG YOU, acne!

{COOKING} Carb Fest II
Bonchon chicken...yummmm. that some tasty ass junk food~
My mom bought organic Korean red pepper paste and the texture is so smooth...
i loves it so. It makes the dduhk bokki (떡볶이) taste more homey.
After attempting to study everyday, I utterly failed today and did absolutely nothing
but pig out & get tipsy...shameful, I know. But it feels so damn goooood~
I'd like to wholeheartedly blame it on the PMS, but that would be another shameful moment...

GAHHH sooo going to make this sometime! The only time I eat canned tuna is in
kimbap, and the kimchi ones look damn delish too. Triangle kimbap (삼각김밥)
is easy to eat & pretty damn filling with all that rice pressed in there. And for you
summer picnic-ers, these could be a cool twist to the plain ole' sandwich. If the
seaweed scares you...well then...I'm sorry, but you're missing out! But then again,
I'm predisposed to liking stuff like seaweed, fermented soybean paste, and
whole dried anchovies (including their little eyeballs), so a little dried ocean grass
doesn't freak my palate out~ ANYHOOT! Aren't those seaweed wrappers &
triangle rice presser nifty? hahaha I was taken away by them as soon I saw them.
(I'm such a dork :p)

I'm a big fan of these baggy men's style shirts since they're so comfortable, and
I can unbutton the top button of my pants (post-major food consumption)
without anyone suspecting it ;) PLUS, t'was a steal at $12.95...gotta love it~

{COOKING} Carb Fest
Lately, I've been craving carbs like major. (I blame mother nature, if y'know what I mean)
And so decided to make some pasta + grilled cheese (whipped up a salad to compensate, as
you can see back there, with a vinaigrette made up of salt + olive oil + fresh lemon juice.
Good quality cheese & pasta make for a satisfying carb binge. Next time...going to add slices of garlic like at Viccolo in Seoul :) In love with TJ's gruyere + cheddar blend for grilled cheese,
(good choice sis).
Don't let the sauce's store-bought exterior fool you. The taste reminds me
of bolognese sauce from Korea...it's hard to explain, but it's frickin goooood.
Adding freshly diced tomatoes adds more flavor to the sauce, me thinks~
And splurging on the spaghetti ($4-$5) made all the difference :)
